Introduction

Hello, I'm Bill. As you can probably tell, I live somewhere near Tampa Bay, Florida. Originally, I'm from the Midwest, but for the past eight years, I've lived here in the Tampa Bay area and love it.

Site Design

When I was making this website, I experimented with remote controls, mostly because I've been intrigued by those that other people have made, and because I wanted to see if I could do it. To start, I created this remote in Photoshop, then it was sliced into pieces and connected with javascript to give it the effect of movement. You can find links to remote controls others have created on my Favorite Links page.

Thoughts for the future

I'm always trying to learn new tricks, and my hope is to have updates from time to time in an attempt to keep this website fresh and interesting.

The pictures you find here are ones I've taken in my travels to the Bahamas and during outings with friends here in Florida. I'm really proud of the sunset picture found on the Gallery page which I captured at Ft. DeSoto State Park near St. Petersburg, Florida.

You'll also find a collection of jokes which I call Howlin' Humor. Most of these jokes have circulated around the Internet and found their way into my e-mail. The ones I liked best, I tried to improve on and make more interesting by adding graphics, animated gifs and java animations to them. I hope they give you a chuckle.

Another section I call Bill's Bits is a collection of things I've found on the Internet or elsewhere, like Desiderata. Some bits are poetry written by my brother, or me and things like a Christmas card and a Thanksgiving card can be found there. I really like this section and hope you enjoy looking it over.
